My paintings are inspired by the paintings of Titian, Rubens and the artists of the Rococco period. Although my work is not always figurative the themes of love and loss are timeless and present. I intend the paintings to have an element of mystery and ambiguity that leave the viewer free to  interpret and give meaning.

I am a qualified architect with thirty years practising in London and Cambridge. I became a full time painter in 2016, after formal training in drawing and painting at The Royal Drawing School and The Essential School of Painting.
